Drawing inspiration from the 2000 Tom Hanks film "Castaway", Wilson has become a beloved element of the bar and resort. You will likely find Wilson at the bar, soaking up the chilled vibe and sipping one of our famous Pina coladas.

Where is Wilson’s Sundowner Beach Bar?

Castaway Resort is located on the western side of Rarotonga in the village of Arorangi and is approximately 15 minutes drive (8km) away from the main city centre where you can also watch the most stunning sunset. Situated literally right on the beach down from the resort, Wilson’s Sundowner Beach Bar is where all the cocktail magic happens. With stunning views and whale watching (in the season) there’s always something to see and do at Wilson’s Sundowner Beach Bar.
